Ms. Lund holds a BFA in Interior Design with a minor in Business from the University of San Francisco. With a background at Nordstrom, Inc., she honed her space planning and project management skills within the Store Planning and Architecture Department. Her ability to liaise effectively between contractors, vendors, and regional management has been pivotal in delivering exceptional service to her clients. Susan specializes in consultation and design services tailored to each client's unique needs, providing comprehensive working drawings, specifications, and project management. Her designs reflect her philosophy, passion, and extensive experience, resulting in beautifully organized and functional spaces.
Ms. Lund offers comprehensive support and guidance from start to finish, ensuring a seamless journey from original designs to final finishes. She adopts a team approach, working closely with her clients to bring their visions to life. From ideation through planning and organization, Susan provides expert assistance every step of the way. She oversees selections and finishes, coordinates with general contractors, and ensures the project's completion to the highest standards. Ms. Lund is an accredited member of the National Kitchen and Bath Design Association (NKBA), California Legislation Coalition for Interior Designers, and a board member of North Bay NARI. She is also a certified Green Building Professional from Build it Green.
When she's not transforming spaces for her clients, Susan enjoys spending time in her own kitchen in San Anselmo, CA, where she nurtures her love of cooking alongside her twin daughters.

I have worked with Susan for 20 years as a cabinet manufacturer at Christiana Cabinetry. Not only is Susan knowledgeable and talented as a designer, she is also a delight to work with. I hired Susan Lund and Spacial Design to rethink my kitchen space - I believe that's what "Spacial Design" is all about. I wanted someone who really understood a workable flow, increased storage, brought a fresh eye, and was experienced in bringing a pleasing balance in the cabinetry. Susan checked all the boxes. She also knew immediately that I needed more lighting, which she balanced as well. I did order my cabinets through Susan (she reps a few lines), which was a good decision.
